Like a previous collage by Bernice Yeung, this one is also included in the journal we gave to Sofia for summer camp. I find that lately I have been moving back and forth between a few different modes of expression, some of which are experiments with complex figuration and others with less rigorous geometric planning, or even meaning. But this collage in particular, made on a black sheet of paper, comes out of an impulse to search for space in the page with limited shapes. I’ll probably be posting more in this vein soon.
